The game graphics isn't as impressive as Unreal 3 but they do use the same engine. While the 9800 GX2 held its own I averaged up the Frames which was around 60 fps.

Heavy gun scenes where motion blur was used the most yielded in a drop to the 40s and sometimes mid 30s, but never below that.

here are some screen shots!

That being said, I really don't think the game is as well optimized as in Unreal 3.... GOD DAMN YOU UBISOFT!!!!! GET IT RIGHT!

Either way it went alot better than I thought it would, I thought it would beat Crysis in optimization problems, guess I was wrong!

Tell me what you guys think!

Ubi-Soft is notorious for delivering games already in need of a patch. They make great games but they always release them before they have all the bugs worked out.
We used to have LAN parties at work, and Raven Shield always gave us the most grief trying to set up a game.

yeah i remember that game. Amazingly fun though! I think the new series offer alot more than the previous, and I'm glad Ubisoft chose Unreal 3 engine, but I wish they would optimize their games better. I mean the game doesn't look as good as Unreal 3 and I'm gettin 100+ frames with the same settings in Unreal 3. I'll play with it somewhere see where it takes me. I don't know what AA unreal has, this one was set to 8 (Its really over kill and unnecessary I just did it for benchmark purposes)

I also tested Assasin's Creed and the same problems, but worse. The low in Frames when everythingn is maxed out is 26 when viewing the whole city from on top of a peak. When I turn Shadows off (it looks horrible and bright if i do, its 1 of those games where shadows actually matter) the frames go to 60.

I'll post screens when I have time. I'm also doing Command and conquer 3.

That's very strange. I use g92 8800gts, and framerate never drops below 60fps on max settings. The resolution is only 1280x1024 though. What resolution do you run it at?

1280. how are you getting 60 constant? Maybe its my drivers, thats really weird! I dunno what to say. The game apparently runs pretty bad on other cards too:S r u sure? My friend has a 8800 Ultra and he's getting like 20 - 30 fps:S

Weird!

Okay, 20-30fps on 8800Ultra is definitely not normal. It doesn't like his/her computer. :na:
My 8800gts is oced to 780mhz, but still shouldn't make that much difference. It probably have to do with software. I use Omega modified driver, which is supposed to be better than stock Nvidia drivers. But I haven't noticed significant gain on other games.
