when I turn on the Compaq presario, the lcd screen came up not not image can be seen, only the white light on the screen. Sometimes, when moving the cover back and foward the imagen shows.

The backlight connection to the MOBO is probably loose.

I check the back light connection to the mobo and it was not loose; however, I decide to order the Video cable and when I installed the new one, the monitor did funtion correctly. Your advise leadme to think that the cable was the problem and not the monitor. Thank you.
