Hello,
since ms does not include the true sound codec any longer in windows starting with vista, I took the file "tssoft32.acm' from my xp pc and want to load it on a vista pc. just copying it to the windows/system32 does not work.

can this be done somehow?

TrueSpeech comes from the DSP Group in Califormnia. Google for them and see if you can find the whole installation package for their Codec.
