Run services.msc - scroll down to Windows audio. Is it set to automatic & turned on ?

Yes it is turned on still no sound?

Check in Device Manager - Make sure no error is reported.
Also Event Viewer.

Check Sounds in Control Panel - Nothing greyed out, and of course,
the speaker settings are not muted . and no head set is plugged in ?
