Vista doesn't care that you have that 500MBs free, it might not be touching it... but we all know that it wants it.

So it keeps reminding you to upgrade your pc so it can use those 500MBs it craves so much(vista uses more memory if more is available, sort of percentage based).

Also, lighten up. It's obvious your memory doesn't have enough mayo for proper heat dissipation.

I didn't do it

Well he can't be the stupid idiot because he is right. What you haven't figured out is the system resources are zapping your memory and if you downsized your pagefile, guess what, you are going to get an out of memory pop up everytime. The same thing happenned to me when I did away with my page file at 4 gig of memory. Increase your pagefile size or bump up the memory or both. But you are the idiot for calling someone else one.

No need to shout, others already answered that you should increase your page file... and well adding more ram would also fix that problem.

it's not a secret that vista is a ram whore! if your gaming then you should be at 4gigs IMHO.

ChaosGS 2GB in Vista is like 512MB in Xp. Sure it will work, but with the price of Ram now days, why not get some more. I got 8GB for 160 bucks. If you dont want to actually spend some money, doing what was suggested(Making the pagefile bigger) will help. If you dont want to do either one enjoy the messages then. Either choice is not hard to make. If I sound like an ass, tough. There are thousands if not more threads about memory usage in Vista. Most if not all say you need over 2GB in Vista. So pony up and make the pagefile bigger or buy some Ram. If not STFU.(Really)
