hello.

I am overclocking my phenom.
i have got it to go to 2.5
with the Auto Overclock er in the biostar bios.

im still learning which is which to change the value.
but the auto OC brought it up to 2.43 ghz.

And the software "T utilty OC" doesnt seem to work well.
once it goes to 2.5 the desktop will not be stable.
so i reset. and it brings it back to 2.1 ghz... weird.

does any one recommend Speed Fan ?

I have it on right now and I need just a bit clarification.

what would the ACPI, and AMD K10 be ?
and also. why are the second, third core, at - Celsius?

A suggestion would be to turn off the Cool and Quiet, and any active fan set that is enabled (will force the Fan to run at max speed).

And as for the temps, what case do you have? as an Antec 900 is $120 on newegg now. Also the Antec 300 is $60 (just need to add front fans).

im using a cheap barbones case xD

but it has 3 avavilbe slots on the side and one on the top.
