More Information

Hey all,

First off, great site. Lot's of information.

I've been interested in getting new RAM for a while now, though, I'm
not entirely sure which RAM to shoot for. Currently I have 2x1GB of PQI
DDR2-667 (4+4+4+12) RAM. I of course would like to upgrade to some type
of DDR2-800 RAM.

I've mainly been looking at RAM on Newegg with CAS Latencies of 3, but
as I understand it, that's not always the deciding factor. So I come
looking for suggestions.

I'm not entirely sure how much I'd like to spend either.

My Setup
CPU- Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz (overclocked to 2.77ish?)
Motherboard- Asus P5W DH Deluxe

HDD 1- Seagate 500GB SATA 3GB/s 16MB cache
HDD 2- Seagate 400GB PATA 16MB cache
HDD 3- Seagate 300GB PATA 8MB cache
HDD 4- Seagate 250GB SATA 3GB/s 8MB cache

DVD Burner- LiteOn
PSU- Kingwin 600w modular
Capture Card- Hauppauge 500MCE (I think? lol)
Case- Thermaltake Tsunami (black)
Watercooling- Zalman Reserator 1 Plus
Keyboard- Logitech DiNovo Edge
Mouse- Logitech MX Revolution
Monitor- ViewSonic 19in Widescreen (1440x900) 2x10w speakers
Other- Floppy drive, 42-in-1 Media Card Reader, external Seagate 200GB USB HDD

Operating Systems-
HDD 1- Windows Vista Ultimate
HDD 2- Windows XP Professional

DDR2-800 should work fine. I see that you are running a Hakintosh. ;)

Yeah, DDR2-800 is what I'd like to upgrade to... but I'm looking for more specific recommendations.

.. And Hackintosh indeed!
