Ok so I built the November Budget guide from Sharkyextreme almost piece by piece, except for the CPU and video card. I scored an AMD5000+ Black for $99 so I decided to use that =D. Also got a eVga 7600 GT for $75 from a classmate. For memory i got the corsair 2gb 6400c4 (4-4-4-12). I ran Nvtune last night and today and it overclocked the CPU to 2.9Ghz (from 2.6Ghz). So now I am getting these random freezes every 5-10 minutes while playing WoW (not very graphic intense... max FPS), so I'm leaning towards a setting issue... (memory timing?) even with default (non Nvtune adjusted) settings I still get the random lockup.

what are your CPU and GPU (GPU in particular) temperatures like after the overclocking.
 
I see you have the latest graphics installed so I don't think its that. (Unless of course the problems started occurring after the driver update)
 
The only other thing I can think of is that there may be a issue with the amount of power your graphics card is getting.
Thats the thing about using programs such as Nvtune and aibooster and not the bios to do overclocking - they sometimes change things you don't want them to change.
 
Are these problems only occurring after the overclocking? Have you tried undoing the overclocking and seeing if this changes anything?

One thing I see is that the memory voltage is too low (1.8v) it should be 1.9v at a minimum according to the specs on newegg. I would set it at 2v just to be safe. I would also raise the cpu voltage a bit ( because of vdroop) and maybe the northbridge a bit too. What is PCIE frequency? 2500 what? If we are talking about the same thing it ought to be set at 100mhz.

I tried the voltages and still the same problem... Currently I am not overclocking it because I can't even get default speeds to be stable! lol...  When I use NVTune's stress test it passes all of them... maybe I should try another game?  Maybe it is just world of warcraft, hmm... I even tried to remove the cd rom and a few fans, thinking maybe it was a PSU issue (not likely since I only have 1 SATA HD + 1 IDE HD lol).  

 
 
As noted below I tried removing some fans and cd-rom to no avail... I'm not even overclocking it lol... My mobo has no menu where I can adjust ram timings (5-5-5-18 -> 4-4-4-12.... yeah I skimped out on the board regretting it now hehe).  It feels like it is some setting issue because it passes all the NVTune stress tests.  Perhaps it is the game I Play?  I only play World of Warcraft but having random 20 second long lockups while pwning faces is no bueno.

I don't think the game is the problem behind this as it is by no means a power hungry game and the minimum graphics requirements are only 32mb GPU memory, meaning your system should easily be able to handle this.
 
You say it's not overclocked but in your first post you said you oc'd from 2.6ghz to 2.9ghz???
 
 
 

sorry I *had* it overclocked and put everything back to normal to try to isolate the problem   =D

Here are a few SS's of CPUID which are probably more accurate than NVTune (I should have postedt hese first instead of the wall of text, heh)
 

Ok so I pulled 1 stick of ram out and started playing CS:source and DoD:Source and no lockups! (Yes I know neither are graphic intese heh). Maybe I had a bad stick of ram.  So I fire up WoW and start doing some PvP and I get the random 20 second lockups!......  
 
Anyone know of any issues of 64 bit dual core procs possibly having an issue with WoW????  
 
Gonna download Crysis demo today to see if I can get it to lockup.
