I need a good inexpensive gaming monitor. I am looking at the dell 22 in that comes with their XPS system 2208 WFP or the Samsung on Newegg.com

I bought the Samsung 220WM Black Friday special at Best Buy for $199. It isnt great, but it looks real nice. 1000:1 5ms. |

I have the HP w2207 that is very nice...it was between this and the Samsung but the HP is just so shiny and pretty i couldn't resist. |

With prices as they are now, I would be leaning towards something that was 1920 x 1200. And if you can, go and see it. I wouldn't put much faith in advertised response times. One can pretty much guarantee that every monitor manufacturer (except Eizo) exaggerates there response time.....and "inexpensive" can't be used to classify any of their monitors. |
