I have ASR-5805 SAS RAID controler card, but it's an engineering sample.
one day, I was update my card's firmware.
updating process has no problem, but it's not working.
when I boot my computer, I saw posting massage, 'unknown firmware.'
It must be firmware incompatibility problem.
so, I need an old version firmware to rollback, my E/S controler card.
but I can't get old version firmware, anywhere.
I ask you send to me an old version firmware of my controller.
I don't know my controler card's hardware version.
but i saw many number on my card's backside.
I think, that must be a gruop of serial number.
and you can figure out accurate model of my contorler cards.

Wouldnt this be a question best answered by the Manufacturer? surely they would have old firmware laying around.

The hardware revision is determined by the letter 'D' in TCA-00275-01-D

SAS WWN: is a unique number given to every internal RAID card made.

They have FW 15728 available for every O/S you should switch to that FW if you updated to 16120 or w/e.

Additionally regardless of how you obtained the ES those cards are put through brutal tests and there is no telling if that card might be near its EOL already.

Lastly the model number is determined by the position of the ports, so if you have two internal ports it will be a 5805 and if you had two external ports it would be a 5085,

or you could have gone to the Adaptec web site to find this information out, save for the hardware version.
