Ive been trying to find an article somewhere on the internet that compares different chipsets but cant find any past 2005. Am i bad at google, or do people not really discuss this issue? I have no idea which chipsets are better than others!

Just go to Google and type, "whats the better chipset for Intel processers". When you go to Google again treat it like your talking to a person. The P35 chipsets are all the rave right now if your going single graphics card. Heres one great mobo. As for your chipsets your better of researching each one seperate compare what you need and what you dont and choose from there

Sorry dont know much about AMD processors. There are some other Intel CPU chipsets available but not as pronounced (Intel G31, G33, P31, 954P. Nvidia nForce 4. Via and SIS also make some(not really worth a mention))

Hey guys thanks for the help, but im looking to get an AMD. My probem is not the mother board parts but the chip sets. i often see two boards that have what i need/want with tow seperate chisets and have no idea wehich is the better choice. the internet doesnt seem to be helping

get my board Gigabyte M57SLI-S4 good cheap board..... good overclocking too... got my x2 4000 too 3.2ghz
