I have a AGP 8X card which is not shuting up with CPU that i got
mean, these are bottleneck in like crazy and frequent almost non-stop boteleneck and there is plenty of lag down there
I live near susex and i want to have Nvidia Gefo 9 series
Now i am not ready to spend 500 bucks for 8800 GTX ultra
Someone can help me to build a nice Comp with the AGP 8X card.

1) I play HLEAthMATCH a LOT
the frame rates are what 8FPS? and this is in CS:S too and the CPU cannot handle it the game window closes

I'm afraid you need a new computer. Don't spend a cent on upgrading the current computer.

You'll be waiting a while for Geforce 9, maybe next year.

I'd just get a new CPU now, and a cheap video card. My Geforce 7600 (which can be had for $75 now) runs HL2 pretty well. It hovers around 60fps at 1024x768. 2xAA 4xAF.

Source Engine was out in the 6800 era. That video card will be able to play HL2 DM and CS:Source. Source engine is mostly cpu. Get a cheap mobo and good processor. If your that low on money then just get a socket 939 mobo/cpu

but that leaves NO room for upgrades
