I need a little help.

I have one 8800GTS 320MB, which struggles at 1680 x 1050 in some games.

I don't know what to do about it though.

IMO turn down some settings on games that struggle and wait for the next line of cards.

You can also consider turniong down the res on a game that doesn't perform as well as you'd like it to.

But I just spent ~£2000 on a computer that I wanted to rip any game apart.

slightly disappointed that I didn't spend the extra £20 for the 640MB version now.

Well - from everything I've read SLI isn't the answer for the 320.

That's what I was thinking; with a budget that high he should have been able to easily get an 8800GTX.

Originally I was going to buy a 7900 or something, because I thought DX10 cards were a waste of money at the moment.

But I got tempted by the 8800 series a day or two before I ordered my stuff.

Don't get a second GTS, sell your current card, add the money you were going to pay for another GTS, and get a GTX/Ultra, or wait for G92.

I did my research and, according to Tom's Hardware, there wasn't much difference between the 320 and 640.

How much you reckon a 8800GTS 320MB OC2 would be worth with a month of use?

The difference should come with higher resolutions, but I don't think you'll see a great FPS boost. It will probably be less swapping with the 640 one, but with roughly the same FPS.
About the price, I have no idea. I plan to sell my GTS too to upgrade to a G92, but I'll do that in november/december, so I probably won't be getting a lot.
