Hi, don't know if anyone will be able to help me..

I'm looking for some software I can use to image my full hard drive installation to a network drive (easy part)
And be able to restore it to a completely different computer? (hard)

I read up about it and I believe it's called a bare metal restore.

Does anyone know any free software I can use? Or any trial software around that actually has this function enabled?

I am looking to purchase in the near future but I'd rather test to see if it works first, but it seems most companies don't allow the function in any demos :/

Your assumption about the function not available in trial/demos is most likely correct. Here are some links, for bare metal
