Ok, it's been years since I've attempted to build a system, but my computer is starting to give out on me. Please verify that all my parts are compatible and are quality parts. Also, is there any place I can pre-order the E6850 chip? I've found several sites that have it listed for $290. Is the price supposed to go down any further?

Things to add: silver floppy (not on newegg for some reason?) and the E6850 CPU.

Thanks for your help guys. This website has helped me a lot in picking parts.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that is much too expensive and beyond what I need.

VERY nice choice on the PSU, finally someone that can choose a PSU :) One thing that keeps bogging me, you're not buying a graphics card?

Oops! Haha forgot to list it.

I'm getting the eVGA 8800 GTX.

The GTX is a long card - longer then MB? Some smaller cases might give you problems as it would run right into one of the bays.

Yeah, that's what I heard, but this case has been known to specifically fit this video card.

Oh, what is a good heatsink/fan I can buy for around $40-$50? I was looking into the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro but I don't know if it will fit on my motherboard.
