More Information

I installed my wireless adapter (Speedtouch 120g) on vista recently. But from the start ive been experiencing the bluescreen every time i take the adapter out or turn off my computer (appears just before windows would normally shut down).

I also noticed that there is no safely remove device, so i've figured that it must be due to the device not stopping. It's not officially made for vista but from other online forums no one else seems to have this problem. It also gives installation instructions for it on the aol website so i assume its meant to work fine.

Appart from these bluescreens it works absolutely flawlessly, so i'd rly like to correct this problem as it can be very frustrating. I can still use windows properly, its just annoying lol.

Any help appreciated :)

More Information

Does it happen if the adapter is plugged in other ports? Try the ones closest to the keyboard & mouse.

If it still happens, update your adapter driver. If no luck, restart PC, tap DEL or anything on screen for setup/BIOS, integrated devices, toggle the Legacy USB setting, save & exit.

If you still can't fix it, call up your ISP.
