hi,
i have Siemens ADSL SL2-141 router but i have cable internet
i have motorola sb4200 modem
can i connect this router to the modem?
(i have no vpn dialer, the modem is always online)

No, it doesn't have an Internet (or WAN) port.

is there anythig else i can do?
for example, now, i have the modem connected to 1 of the lan ports
i turned off the DHCP server in the router
and any computer that connects to the router get an ip from the isp
but there is no 10.0.0.1 ip
so what exactly is happenning?
