The ASUS seem to make a good lappy (once you remove all the really bad built in software packages), only problem that i have with some of them is that the case is made from a PVC like material, makes it feel cheap. However the G1 or the G2 do seem to meet you requirments.

Wierd enough i was bored and looking around at barebone laptops from asus and when i went to a few of their sell sites they carried the barebones but did all the upgrades themselves. The prices werent bad. just go to asus.com and look under where to buy then under barebone laptops. |
