I bought this old computer and I managed to get on-line,,finally. It is running XP Professional and the problem is this; I can't get administrative prevledges on it? Is there a way or will I have to start all over? I can not update the security software or anything. It won't let me run any or open any software.

Thanks for the info. This seems like it will work so I will give it a try,,I will keep trying untill finally this thing will work right. I am on my computer I got out of the shop at the moment but I will read some more before I hook the other one back up, make sure I know how to do all this,,thanks again for the reply.
