2 weeks ago I was trying to get into some files on my PC, when I was unable to (adm settings), I am the administrator. This is my pc! I decided to do a system restore to see if that would work. It had been disabled? BIG MISTAKE! I went into the registry to enable the usage (BIGGER MISTAKE), I MESSED UP some where.
The PC CRASHED!!!!! Blue screen of death!!! It is an xp, so I had a friend with more knowledge than me look at it. He was able to bring pc back up. However, we had to reactivate windows.
Now it's like it has 2 systems running @ the same time. I only have 1 hard drive and it will not come up on normal settings . All of the files are read only. I still can not access them all. Can't get on line. It's like it is networked now. I REALLY need help!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, M_
