Hello,

I use my Ipaq 2210 as an MP3 player in the gym.

Works great - I stick it in my pocket, sweat a lot, but I don't think
the standard issue cloth/card-boardy case is up to it! After only a
week or two of huffing and puffing one of the rubber strips is starting
to come away from the Ipaq, no doubt due to my sweating.

Anyone know of a water/sweat proof case that would be suitable for use
in a gym?

Cheers,

Ruairi

Might be a little OTT but Google for Otterbox.

Back in the very early PPC days, a number of users reported success (up
to and including use in the bathtub ;-) using heavyduty ziplock bags.

Doesn't that make them rather less portable ? ;-))

I would also say that Otterbox is the only full waterproof solution.

But it might be an overkill, and an expensive one. Are you sure you sweat so
much there? Isn't it something that is just contact with humid clothes? If
so, a regular case, leather or aluminium, should be enough.

And be sure that your rubber stickers would go out anyway. It is just a
question of time. You can get the replacement from PocketPCTechs and they
will never fall again.
