Does anyone know how to get Media Player 11 to install on Server 2008? I already tried everything I can think of.

I think you have to install Crysis, and a few other games, plus a ton of non-server non-secure applications before you can install MP11

/joking.
What are you getting as far as errors? You know, like information that could help give you an answer?

I hate it when people ask questions and never reply.

I just worked 24 hours in the past 2 days hence the delay. Here's the message that pops up when I try to install the Vista version of MP11:

At this point, I determined that Microsoft didn't design Server 2008 to run Media Player at all. Ah well, just have to reformat my hard drive and instal XP alongside Server 2008. Oh, the reason I'm running Server 2008 in case anyone is wondering is because my job wants me to get my MCP in Server 2008 because they plan on deploying it in January.

Once you enabled Desktop Experience, Media Player is installed.
