Hard to say but trying another DVD drive is often the fix for these installation hang ups. --------------- tehhardpro wrote : notherdude u have an old hand. Having an old hand doesnt make sence. First thing I would do is check for a cooling issue, what is your CPU temp?

Try disabling firewire in the bios and make sure there are no USB devices listed in the boot sequence. Message edited by yamagiru on 05-14-2008 at 12:00:49 AM |

It is the OEM version and I have Windows XP 64 Bit on here right now. I have tried removing one of the memory sticks but it still stops at the same screen. My DVD drive and HDD are the only thing listed for boot but I have two hard drives. Also my power supply is 600w. CPU temp is 38C at idle. Message edited by yshari on 05-14-2008 at 03:53:30 AM |
