I have been working in several of my photographs for some months now. I have them organized by month and when working on them (in Photoshop and other programs) I do a copy to save the original file (in case I need to process it different at some other time). Then I save the edited file in the same directory that the original is, this is to being able to see them side to side for comparison purposes.

File names are like this: "img_2000.jpg" and the edited file: "img:2000 2.jpg.

Now my question. I have tried to do a search (I have Vista Ultimate) with this parameters:

* 2.jpg

Leaving a space between the wilcard and the 2 that identify my edited files. So far, the results are not acceptable, so I wonder which would be the best program to do the search as I need it?

If I can put hen those files together to browse them and select the ones I need for my portfolio I would be delighted.
