So Ive read a bit about Vista and overall it sounds like a so-so OS. The thing that really caught my eye was all the problems people have been having with the built in DRM. Can someone please explian exactly WHY/HOW this is even legal/included in the OS??? From what ive seen some people cant even record TV shows using there TV/Video cards because a little pop up springs up and says YOU CANT DO THIS BECAUSE THIS IS COPYRIGHTED CONTENT. I mean WTF what else is this wonderful DRM going to do??? Maybe prevent people from ripping and burning there own custom music CDs ....you know the more I hear about DRM the more pissed off I get :x |

YAWN!!! Have you used the search function - DRM has been around the block several times. If I could, I'd give you a quarter and tell you to call someone that cares!

So besides HD/Blu-Ray DVDs and TV shows, DRM doesn't affect anything.

I've never had a TV show issue either, and I've been using it as a primary source for recording/playback for months. |
