More Information

Well after trying out Windows vista build 6000 32bit and 64bit for 2 days each I have the results.ill make this as short as possible.

Amd 4000+ 1gigram cl2.0 high bandwith 7600gt.

World of Warcraft Xp/85fps Vista32,64bit/ 65-85fps

Counterstrike Source Xp/190-230fps in server 50-120 fps
Vista /79-80fps in server 30-35 fps

What im a little disapointed is how slow my css ran , im thinking it "could be" the video driver , Another note. With counterstrike source Turning off mat_bumpmaping 0 and mat_specular 0 gives me about 50fps more. taking it up to 190 ingame .. all test were ran exacly the same. When I turn bumpmaping and specular on I lose fps taking me down to 135fps .

With vista 32/64bit I turn bumpmap off and on and it has no affect on my fps at all . its like if vista takes to much out of the cpu . or maybe it just needs a vista driver for my amd cpu.

Well I reinstalled xp today because untill someone knows why source is losing so much power and knows a way to fix it , I wont install vista.

. Ingame and an actuall server my fps would drop to 30-35 and on xp i get a range from 50-120 . So there u have it in the shortes post I can post.

try it out for yourselfs 4 those of u who know how to .
