Thread : Possible to move tabs around on the TASKBAR?

I place my taskbar vertically on the right side of the screen, set to AutoHide. I do it because I can actually read all my IE windows. Sometimes I have as many as twenty and then windows switches from single column to double colums... which already shorthens the number of letters on each tab and makes it more difficult to read.

Get yourself the IE 7 beta or use Firefox. Tabbed browsing is a lot better than having 20 separate windows open. |

Hi Zoron, thanks for your feedback. But your suggestion deals just with one application. Actually I am curious as to what can be done with the TASKBAR itself.

So far as I know, it can't be done. It may be possible, but I just don't know how to do it. |

Sorry for the late reply, but thought it might help others: the free Taskbar Button Manager lets you move the buttons around with drag and drop. Nothing fancy, but works great for me. |
