The best way to check RAM compatibility is to go to the mfg website, in this case CORSAIRS, enter the mfg/model number of your mobo, and it should tell you all the RAM that is compatible. |

I would also recommend checking these and MSI's forums. I know some of the new boards are picky, should I say strict, on the 1.8v +-0.1v standard and may not post if more is required, though once into BIOS setup some mobos allow you to set the voltage and timings to that required by your modules.

I've never used Corsair nor OCZ, but from the forums (here, Anandtech, MSI, and ASUS) it seems OCZ has been experiencing problems with their parts. Corsair XM2 modules were also one of the modules with the most FTB compaints on the 680 and 650SLI mobos, so I went with Patriot. The price was right as well!
