Hi,

Thanks in advance for any help offered. I am a noob at overclocking CPUs. I just want to get my e6300 to 2.4 on stock cooling. I am currently at 2.0. I was wondering what voltage settings would be appropriate. When I tried increasing the fsb beyond 300mhz it wouldn't post. I'm not sure of the porper voltage to fsb ratios. My specs and timings are listed below. I'm a little confused by the memory frequency of 429 mhz, I thought it would be higher (maybe the timing's off now). Please take it easy on my, this isn't my first build but I've never tried overclocking past a few hundred mhz.

For stock voltage you can hit up to 3.1 ghz but you will need a better cooling for that.

2.4ghz should be no problem to hit with stock cooling and stock voltage.

give it a try.

You might want to set your RAM to 1:1 in the BIOS.
