I doubt there is a more stable Smartphone than the HTC Typhoon, aka Audiovox SMT5600 / SP3 / SP3i / SDA / SDA Music and QTek 8010.
Best mobile phone on the market IMHO

I don't actually know much about Audiovox, being in the UK.
They may have released a version of the HTC Feeler (? late, too tired to check) which is a similar phone but with a row of dedicated media player buttons.
Similarly we await the Orange C550 which will be an expanded C500 with 240x300 screen and the media player buttons but no WM2005.

Anyways, I own an iMate Jam, which is the smallest Pocket PC Phone Edition device (along with the Eten M500) and is roughly about the size of a packet of Marlboros and light enough to be carried in a shirt pocket. The Typhoon models are the same length but much slimmer and the weight is negligible for a Smartphone.

Compared to a regular PPC ?
You're in for a nice surprise.
Nice shock even. They are tiny in comparison and the functionality will impress you if you remember that it's a phone not a handheld computer. You need to get down to the local shop and hold one in your hand.

Yes, Nokia are going to incorporate some Windows software but the designs are awful. Fuhgeddabouditt !!
