Thread : Screen Saver fails
More Information
I installed a new Microsoft Optical Wireless desktop (keyboard and mouse). My screensaver fails to activate and the monitor does not turn off after the appropriate number of minutes. Basically, the monitor is on all the time unless I manually turn it off.

Yes - the screen saver is activated to start in 7 minutes in Dispaly Properties and in the Power properties, I have the monitor set to turn off in 10 minutes. This all worked fine before installling the wireless keyboard and mouse. I do not have an "Energy Properties" in the conrol panel. |

I have this keyboard/mouse combination as well. Have you installed all the software that came with it (IntelliPoint/Type). If you haven't, you could try installing it. If you have, you could try uninstalling it? |
