 Thread : worth the upgrade?

More Information

Hello All,
I purchased an HP Pavilion 9235nr (specs are below). It currently has the T5200 CPU (2M level 2 cache). I see the T7200 has 4M shared level 2 cache.
The laptop runs on Vista Premium and may run on Ultimate later this year.
My question is the upgrade worth it for productivity? Options to consider:
1) I rip DVDs. Any improvement there?
2) Multitasking. " "
3) Battery consumption. Will my battery not last as long?
Thanks in advance,
TW
