The problem is that the "Display Properties - Screensaver - Power Options Properties and Advanced Settings" have disappeared. ??????????

Any clues about where or why they went and how to get them back?

I just wanna to change what the power button does (set it to hibernate)... but i dont have any option...

There is any registry key to set manually the power button function?

Note: I CAN'T repair or reinstall Windows XP

Any idea?

1.click start,click run, type cmd , click ok.
2.At cmd prompt type--- powercfg /RestoreDefaultPolicies (or just copy paste it)
3.Press enter.

now check again.
