i have this nagging problem about setting up printers for the clients. printers are shared by fat clients running win98, win2k. this is no printer attached to any ts client.
currently i install printer as an admin, the printers then become available to all terminals. which is rather unpleasant because when a terminal prints, a lot of printers is being shown to him. I'm looking for a solution that will limit the amount of printers viewed to the user within their terminal server session.
also when i try to install printer per client, i get this message "insufficient rights to your machine".
maybe its ok if i install printer as an admin, and of course can see all the printers, but clients can only see the printers assigned to them.
is this possible in a terminal server environment?
