I'm trying to get all machines to be able to file and print sharing... All machines can access the internet. What is the first thing I must to in order to file and print share?

Can someone point me in the right direction for research....

Make sure all computers are in the same workgroup. Make sure the IP address range is Trusted if you have any firewalls. Create shares.

And don't forget to turn on file and print sharing.

FWIW, in Windows XP you don't really have to "turn on file and print sharing". You can just create a share or share a printer without running the wizard.
