 Thread : Laptops stoped caching domain logon credentials....

More Information

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.general (More info?)

We have two laptops that the users were able to logon to while they were
not connected to the domain by using thier cached domain credentials.
Suddenly, these two users were unable to do so and had to logon to the laptop
using a local account we creadted for them.
Nothing has changed with the Default Domain Poilicy and the Local
Security Policies --> Local Policies --> Security Options --> Interactive
Login : Number of previous logons to cach ( In case domain controller is not
available ) is reflecting the proper default number of 10.
We have search everywhere on the Internet and within the registry ( These
are Windows XP SP2 laptops ) and can not figure out what happened to these
laptops to cause this to happen. Other members of our team are able to logon
using thier cached credentials.
Has anyone seen this before and know of a possible cause. Or does anyone
have a solution. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
