Most any router will work. All support tcp/ip protocol.

Ethernet routers support AppleTalk, but only some wireless routers do. For example my Netgear MR814 doesn't. The Netgear MR314 does but it is no longer made. |

I have setup and used several wireless routers with apples. If running OSX. any will work, 11b/g. Apple make most all of the hardware compatable with the PC world. They know they are out numbered.

the apple airport is based on 802.11b and the superairport is based on 802.11g. Have used my laptop with regular b & g airport with no problems. Most if not all wifi are compatible with apples. |

Can you print to an AppleTalk LaserWriter over the wireless connection? This is the crux of the problem.
