Okay, here you go, chalk this in the "other" category.

Get a demo copy of Resco Audio Recorder. It has Voice Activated System,
which basically records sound to a mp3 file only when sounds levels are
above a certain settable threshold. Now kick it on (after setting the
software to record to sd card), turn off the display, and let it record
while drifting off to slumberland. In the morning check the device and stop
the recording. I got a total of around 7 minutes last night, and enough to
prove another's claim that I do talk some in my sleep ( as well as proving
that someone else occasionally snores <g> ).

Silly, yes, but interesting in a nerdy kind of way.

Now, can anyone out there translate gibberish sleep talking? I am almost
certain it is lottery numbers, but can't figure the last two digits... :)

Because I happen to live with the person snoring, brief though it is... :)

Besides, who knows what dark secrets lie in all of us that come out at
night.... < strike fugue here>

(Double entendre may be too subtle - the Merriam Webster second definition
of a fugue is : " a disturbed state of consciousness in which the one
affected seems to act in full awareness but upon recovery cannot recollect
the deeds" )

:)

xTenn,

This may be one of the most creative uses of a Pocket PC yet! LOL!

You are clearly in the running for the Uber Geek award this week!

Just imagine what a motion sensitive camcorder will show if left running
instead of your ppc, I don't even want to imagine! ;)

Just be certain to plug the PPC into a charger so it doesn't get wiped out.

Wouldn't it be wild to discover that you are desperately signing a message
in your sleep... Something like, "Help! I am a prisoner"...

I just want to say thanks to members of the academy, and special thanks to
the all the little people out there, without whom we would not have that
really cool Randy Newman song. :)

Maybe, just maybe the Ulimate Question to Life, the Universe and
Everything is locked deep within our subconscience and this might
finally be the means to discover it. If only the mice had thought of
this. If only that hyperspace bypass wasn't approved.
