Hi

After I installed the newest (4.32) VIA 4-in-1 drivers, win2000 cant detect my CD-burner (Sony CRX140E - 8x4x32). I have tried to install the newest bus mastering driver (06/07/2001) from VIA and tried to set PIO to Auto, 1, 2, 3, and 4, but it doesnt help. Can someone please help me?

Aopen HQ45 with 250 Watt powersupply
256 Apacer CAS2
IBM 75 GXP 45 GB
ASUS Geforce 2 mx
Soundblaster 64 AWE
Sony CRX140E (8x4x32)

You can try reinstalling the 4in1 driver without DMA. I always had problems when enabling DMA on VIA chipsets.

It's better to be rich and healthy than poor and sick!

Reinstalling the 4in1 drivers without DMA doesnt help. Still Win2k cant detect my cd-burner. I think I have to reinstall windows 2000 Thanks for helping.
