I have a homebuilt dualcore system with AMD519 bios and a GEForce 6800 GTX graphic card and 2 Gig of RAM. When I start the system, it always bluescreens the first time. This happens after XP starts and only after I start the first application. All the startup apps load etc. No matter how long I wait, when I start a larger app, it bluescreens. After restarting, it is always fine. The culprit idenditied in the bluescreen is always a different sys file, sometimes a nopage fault. I can let it run for weeks or months just fine after that.

How many stick of RAM do you have?? Can you just use 1 stick of ram at a time and see if that solve your problem. Also have you checked that your Bios version is up to date? |
