3 Groove Alternator Pulley for D15B honda Civic Engine

Please tell me how I can find the part number, or an equivalent part, of a 3 groove alternator pulley that will match with a D15B engine from Japan.

After my 1992 Honda Civic LX's engine was replaced with a D15B engine from Japan, my alternator belt started to fray.
I was told my alternator should have a 3 groove pulley instead of the 2 groove pulley it currently has.
A Japanese engine swap place told me they could swap out the alternator pulley if I tipped them, otherwise I'll have to replace the alternator ($275 quote).

any pully that has a center hole matching the alternaters shaft will work. was this alternator the stock one in your car? if so its a good bet that this part will not be made by any shop. you will be doing a scavenger hunt of sorts. alternators are very easy to install and most are not over 120 bucks (ish) new. I would bring a basic socket set and a pully puller tool to a scrap yard and start lookin.
