Hi,

One of my 10 PCs does not inherit the firewall settings from the domain
controller.

The first time the computer was added to the domain it failed because
there where no more CALs available. We've cleaned up the licenses and
later added the computer.

First everything seemed fine until I checked the firewall settings and
discovered that they aren't inherited from the DC like on all other XP
Pro clients.

I further checked the security center and there was nothing to find
about the virus scanner application. We're using a version of Symantec
Corp. edition which isn't yet detected by the security center so we
always disable the virus settings. However, on this computer this was
completely missing. Nothing to disable/enable related to virus scanners.

Any ideas what might the cause be?

thanks,
- Markus

How exactly are you pushing the firewall settings to the
client PCs?
