What is the cause of this error message in the browser bar? It was working
allright 'til now and only comes up while opening gmail.

Because of a problem with the web page itself it cnnot be properly displayed
by IE.
Did anyone else experience the same?

It is the logon page for gmail and now doesn't show up period. It was
starting to load and then stopped in the process with a blank screen and the
'Error on page' message in the title bar. That's all there is to it.
The URL is as follows:
http://gmail.google.com/gmail.

Hope you'll have a good night's rest, Shane.
All of a sudden I am getting this MSIMN error message.
Since you don't have any problem with the page, it must be my PC and in all
probability this error message has something to do with it.
I had this paticular MSIMN problem before and will have to recall what the
remedy was. If I am not mistaken, Mike had the answer, but the details need
to be refreshed.

Harry, I just tried it and it opened my Gmail account up just fine. Did you
try the "s" bit? Can't remember what my problem was, but I couldn't get
Gmail to load, IIRC.

I tried that and it didn't bring any results.
By now I know its in my machine, just don't know what's causing it. Maybe
with Shane's help we get somewhere.

The exact message in the title bar is "Error on page".
It means that the page never finished loading because of errors. I will have
to find out whats causing these errors.
And this is only happening with the gmail webpage.

You were correct about the added "s" in http.
But I had to go to Googles Gmail and Privacy page and there they give you
that particular link, allowing for encrypted access (HTTPS). Did I say that
right?
