I've got an Ericsson T20s. EXACTLY (to the right day) after 7 months of working great, it became faulty for no reason( Its connection to my network halved: Where it always had perfect connection (5 full lines on the display) it now had 2 or 3). Anyway they chnaged the main board of it free of charge and it came alive: This time with new software/hardware: Like animated menus, pictures, new graphics and a screen saver (T20e maybe?)...
Now T20 has a VERY LONG standby/speaking time thanks to a very high-capacity Li-Ion battery (easily 7.5 days on standby) but this screen saver makes that EVEN longer: About 9 full days! I really wonder how a screen saver can lengthen battery life? It's animated so it seems to me it should consume more power? Can anybody explain this to me?

Ok you have a new updated mobo in the phone - it is a more efficient board designed with these extra features in mind.

Either that or you last board was slightly faulty from the start.
