Hi all

I know this is a bit of an unusual combination but just wondered if anyone
had any ideas ?

I'm using the ActiveSync MS Developer Power Tools Remote display to show the
PDA screen on the CTX LCD monitor from my XP laptop

The CTX screen is a Touch screen and it also has a portrait mode.

The 'touch' bit connects via the serial port.

On first setup everything went really well and I had a 3x portait display of
the PDA and the taps of the touch screen got transferred back to the PDA !
;)

Then I disconnected the PDA from active sync and reconnected it. It did its
usual plink plonk and the AS window says connected ......then after about 3
more
seconds a very brief BSOD and system just reboots !

AFter restarting you can connect the PDA again and again it connectes and
crashes.

Going back to a previous restore point allows it to work again but on
disconects/reconect back to square one

I've made sure AS is not trying to use the serial port but beond this I
don't know what else I can try ?

There is obviously some in comptibility between AS and the 'special' CTX
screen driver. Unfortuneately the BSOD is only onscreen for about 1 sec so
there is no chance to read it

Bit of a long shot but anyone any ideas ? As having the PDA displayed at 3x
and touchscreen working is really reather cool and great for demos/training
on PDA equipment.

Thanks in advance

Andrew Kennard
