Since the stats are sitting on my server, I was thinking about picking up where NecroScope left off. All of the formulas are in an Excell file, I was just wondering about how to have some sort of automation or what have you to pull the info off of the SETI servers. If Necroscope would fill me in on how he does it, that would be appreciated.

I've been watching this forum and the LWD forums for a week trying to decide what team I want to join. These are dead!! The deadest forums for SETI I have ever seen for a SETI team.

Oh well... I'm going to join the LWD team. I'll still check this thread to see if anyone replies.

hey - yeah, we're around - it's just that we get on with it rather than talk about it!!!

Actually I see the membership has grown by several the past few weeks, which is cool.

But basically - what are we going to post, day in, day out? Remeber that most people in Seti forums are just posting the regular BS. we have a lot of other forums where we do that in here, and chew the cud with non-seti people while we are at it!

Hey im still around, even though i dont process im still with the team in spirit (1 machine doesnt really do much hehe) ... I come to read this forum like every other day. but for like the last 2 weeks their hasnt been jack here... we need some new competition or a new program to join or something. hehe

it kinda died after we reached 200, cuz its like now what, we cant really get to number 1. well we COULD, but thats not feasible within the next few months at least, which makes it hard for some competition... just some thoughts...

Hay man we could always use the help for this team. Sorry I have not posted much lately but that damn everquest got me hooked. I have fallen behind with the group I play with in levels and wanted to catch up with them. I'm level 31 and some are 35 36.

Well, we could always use more people. The more the merrier etc..
It's true there hasn't been many posts made here. But it's summertime, I've been out pounding the mountain bike into submission.

The BetelNuts kinds of left in early April for the Cancer research stuff, but we still seem to have some PC somewhere cranking a unit SETI per day...
This week is Computex show, met with Tom and the guys today, say hi to you all from them!

My Team contributions involve 2 or 3 WU/day and I host the SETI stats page that Necromancer did. Once he tells me how he retrieved the stats off of the SETI servers and put them into his Excel worksheet. After I acomplish that I will be running the stats page all by myself. Necromancer told me that he just doesn't have the time anymore. I am also hoping to be getting 25 or so P2-333s and a 1.33 T-Bird soon. That should boost my WU production to about 35 to 40 WU/day. We just gotta get some more people going....We gotta catch up to LWD.

I have heard from Lyngmark that he is not too pleased with the organization of the Cancer research thing, although he is firmly behind their cause. Maybe one day he and his PC can join the Betel Nut team again. I need to solve my Thermal problems and a compatibility problem with SETI Driver and I will add a few more PCs again to the SETI team. I personally was not pleased with the Cancer research thing as there were many units I lost in the middle and you had to be connected to the internet 24/7 with no caching program.
