I was looking for a phone option as well, my final solution was to continue to split the two and use a Bluetooth camera phone (currently waiting for the imminent Motorola v710 to be released). The Bluetooth lets you connect wirelessly which is almost as good as a single device and you get a camera for the cost of carrying a second device.
