Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.hardware (More info?)

Hi, I have a Sony DSC P72 digital camera and windows XP.
When I connect the camera to the USB port the cpu doesn´t
auto detect it. I have to restart the cpu so it will
detect the camera. If I restart it always works fine.
Why doesn´t the camera get auto detected?
I just updated Windows but nothing changed. I set up the
drivers that came with the camera.
My motherboard chipset is nforce.

Please help me because I´m going mad.
