I need to know the Mac number (whatever it is) of my Dell Axim Pocket
PC. I have no idea what a 'mac' number is but I know I need it.

What are the steps to finding the PocketPC Mac number?

In WM2003 go to Start/Settings then click the System Tab on the bottom then
navigate to AssetViewer. Click the Plus sign next to Wireless Lan and it is
the bottom one called Mac Address.

And if the MAC address is not showing, turn on the WiFi
adapter and try the same steps again.

Unfortunately, Dell Axims don't seem to have asset viewer, last I looked.
(which is about 5 seconds ago)

On the Axim...hit start, settings, then go to the connections tab instead,
and select "Dell WLAN Utility". Find the button marked "more info >>" and
select it. Then you'll see your MAC address 2nd from bottom, right above
"device name".

Thanks Rob, but I couldent locate the "Dell WLAN Utility" you
described. I fogured out how to find it another way. I simply
connected to my wirless router on the house and on the computer
settings for the router, it showed me trying to connect and it gave me
the MAC address of the connector (me). All of the other ideas you guys
gave didn't work, bob is right, the Axim doesen't ahve the thing you
described.
