Archived from groups: rec.video.desktop (More info?)

What is MPEG-4 SP, and whats the difference from DivX 3.11, 4, 5 and
XviD.

Archos released the PMA400 this month, and it had support for MPEG-4
SP video playback. Does this mean I can't move DivX 3.11, 4, 5 and
XviD files from my computer to it and play them? Do i need to convert
my movie files?
